Quatermass 'Quatermass' (2 Disc Deluxe Edition)
We are pleased to announce the release of a 2 Disc Deluxe Edition of the self titled album by Quatermass on June 24th. Originally released in 1970 on the Harvest label, this edition features stunning new mixes by Peter Robinson in both Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound, along with three bonus tracks, two of which are previously unreleased.

Sphincter Ensemble 'Harrodian Event #1'
Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce that 'Harrodian Event #1' by the Sphincter Ensemble will be released for the first time ever on June 24th. Recorded in January 1972, this rare recording features a unique event where seven gifted Progressive musicians came together to record a session of unique experimental music. This release has been remastered by J. Peter Robinson, who also wrote the essay in the accompanying illustrated booklet.

Todd Rundgren is running an online contest for fans to create a crowd-sourcing music video! Fans are being invited to create visuals to a single line of lyrics, Todd will select the best submission for each line to the song and the winning clips will be edited together to create a full length music video for the track. Two grand winners of the best submission will each win four tickets to a Todd show of their choice, attend sound check, and have their picture taken with Todd!

Hawkwind 'Warrior On The Edge Of Time'
Atomhenge, the Cherry Red Records label managed by Esoteric Recordings, the home of the entire Hawkwind catalogue released between 1975 and 1997, are very pleased to announce that the classic Hawkwind album 'Warrior On The Edge Of Time' will be released on May 27th 2013 as a newly remastered edition from the original stereo master tapes.
Atomhenge label manager Mark Powell says "Contrary to popular myth, the master tapes of this classic album were never lost. They remained in the United Artists vaults. The Atomhenge reissue will be the first ever CD edition to be taken from the original first generation master tapes. All previous editions have been taken from vinyl transfers or inferior copy master tapes. I'm extremely pleased to say that Steven Wilson has mixed the album into a stunning 5.1 Surround Sound mix from the original multi-track master tapes and has also undertaken a new stereo mix of the album which has an amazing depth and clarity whilst remaining faithful to the original release. 'Warrior' is one of THE classic albums of the 1970s and is a land-mark album in Hawkwind's history. The forthcoming reissues will do justice this magnificent record".
Cherry Red managing director, Adam Velasco adds, "The album 'Warrior On The Edge Of Time' has been unavailable officially on CD for many years and it is our intention to make the forthcoming releases definitive editions in terms of audio remastering (from the original master tapes), content and packaging".
Warrior On The Edge Of Time is available as a Standard Edition, a Three Disc Expanded Edition and a Super Deluxe Boxset, a strictly limited collectors edition featureing...
• CD One - The first ever remastered version made from the original analogue master tapes, plus 8 bonus tracks, five previously unreleased.
• CD Two - Features a new stereo mix by Steven Wilson made from the multi-track master tapes plus 5 bonus tracks, two previously unreleased.
• A region free DVD featuring new 5.1 surround and stereo mixes by Steven Wilson plus a 96 khz 24-bit flat transfer of the original 1975 stereo master tapes.
• A 180gm vinyl LP facsimile edition with 'shield' gatefold sleeve and inner bag, cut from the original analogue cutting master tapes.
• The boxset also includes a deluxe 48 page book with photos, memorabilia and essay, a reproduction of the American in-store promotional poster, a replica concert ticket from detroit in 1975 and three promotional postcards.

Todd Rundgren 'STATE'
Prolific musical experimenter, premier league pop craftsman, tireless producer, runt, wizard and true star Todd Rundgren will release his new studio album 'STATE' on the Esoteric Antenna label via Cherry Red on Monday 8th April. 'STATE' is Rundgren's 24th solo studio album (and that's not including the 2 albums he recorded with his first band The Nazz, and the 9 albums he recorded with his band Utopia!).
Todd's latest musical vision is a fusion of rock, soul, r'n'b and electronica that is at once danceable, groundbreaking, spiritual, challenging and infectious.
